Why UX Design?
I am a designer and builder.
Simply put, I love creating visually engaging designs and bringing ideas to life. My passion for UX stems from the ability to do both, while continuously learning and growing in a rapidly evolving industry.
Growing up as Korean American has shaped me to be someone who understands different perspectives. I often felt alienated from both of the cultures I was born into, which cultivated a strong sense of empathy and understanding of diverse perspectives.
I try to reflect my experiences and understandings into my design process and strive to create welcoming experiences for everyone.

Who am I without the Gentle Monsters?
I am an aspiring user experience designer based in Seattle, WA. I also am a recent graduate from the University of Washington Information School with a B.S. in Informatics, where I mainly studied human-computer interaction.
